Report highlights cost of cyber crime on small firms

A NEW report from the Federation of Small Businesses has shed light on the growing problem of cyber crime for small firms.

The business lobby group said fraud, online crime and software viruses is costing its members £785m a year.

The 'Cyber security and fraud: the impact on small businesses' report shows that 41% of FSB members have been a victim of cyber crime in the last 12 months, putting the average cost at around £4,000 per business.
