BDP enjoying Chinese boomtime

BDP, the North West architecture and design practice, has reported surging demand for its services in China.

The firm, which has its head office in Manchester, and studios in the Middle East and India as well as China, says its growing workload has seen its Shanghai studio team more than double to 34.

Led by teve Gillham, a former BDP architecture director in Manchester, the firm's Shanghai studio is now delivering 150 projects in 30 locations.
