Building work is set to start at the new £1m Liverpool Gin Distillery on Castle Street next Tuesday, August 28. The new city centre distillery is being opened by Huyton-based Halewood Wines & Spirits for its Liverpool Gin brand and will include with two bars – a premium gin and spirits bar on the ground floor and a premium dark spirits bar at basement level – a specially-designed Gin Lab where visitors can make the spirit themselves, and a Bartender School.
