Manchester medtech firm gains funding from Scottish Cervical Cancer charity
Zilico, the Manchester cervical cancer diagnostic specialist, continues to see the adoption of its ZedScan™ expand after the Michelle Henderson Cervical Cancer Trust funded the purchase of two ZedScan devices.
They will be used at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary’s colposcopy unit, to help prevent women developing cervical cancer.
ZedScan is a diagnostic device that uses electrical impendence spectroscopy technology to identify cell changes that cannot always be seen during standard colposcopy.
