Liverpool FC choose McLaughlin and Harvey to build £50m training centre
Liverpool FC has named McLaughlin and Harvey as the main contractor to build its £500m training complex in Kirkby.
The builder, which has offices in Belfast, Glasgow, London, Edinburgh and Liverpool, also won the Liverpool City Council tender earlier this year to build the Liverpool cruise terminal over the next three years.
According to Construction News, work on the Reds' new training base will begin this October, and is expected to be complete by Spring 2020.
However, this is a year later than the original schedule.
