Russell Hume allowed to resume processing meat in Liverpool
Enforcement action preventing Russell Hume from processing and distributing meat products at its Liverpool site has been lifted after assurances that its food safety management system met the legal requirements were satisfied.
The Derby-headquartered meat supplier will be allowed to resume production and distribution of products to customers but only from the Liverpool site.
The five other sites cannot restart production until the same assurances are met.
