A Manchester-based private equity-backed drug development and analytical services company has swooped for an Edinburgh-based cancer treatment and discovery specialist as part of its buy and build strategy. Concept Life Sciences has acquired Aquila BioMedical, a move it says will bolster its discovery capabilities. The terms of the deal are undisclosed.
