Brewery drinks to record revenue of £67.7m

Greater Manchester brewery J W Lees is celebrating record turnover of £67.7m. In the year to March 31, the Middleton company made capital investments of £10.8m, including the acquisition of six new freehold pubs and hotels. They are: The Bear’s Paw Chester, The Crown Inn Lymm, The Fog & Railway Heaton Moor, The Groes Inn, Conwy, The Hanging Gate Weaverham and The Vale Royal Abbey Arms, Delamere.
