Trophies help Manchester United to revenue of £581m-plus
Success in two cup competitions has contributed to a 13% increase in revenue to £581.2m for world-famous football club Manchester United.
The club’s full year accounts ending on June 30 also show adjusted EBITDA ROSE 4% TO £199.8m. However that success looks unlikely to be repeated next year with that figure expected to fall to between £175m and £185m.
On the field, the Old Trafford side won the Europa League – entitling them to play in the Champions League this season - and the League Cup.
