Next phase of £76m scheme to reduce congestion in Stockport about to start
The second phase of a £76m plan to reduce traffic congestion around Stockport town centre to start soon.
The Town Centre Access Plan will link the A6 with Travis Brow, the new Travis Brow Link Road will create another route around the town.
Working closely with Transport for Greater Manchester, a new bridge will be built across the River Mersey as part of the transport interchange development, which will improve access into the interchange for buses.
