£9m funding agreed to back skills across city region
Capital funding of almost £9m has been agreed to support skills and learning opportunities for communities across Liverpool City Region.
The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has agreed awards through its Local Growth Fund which forms part of the Single Investment Fund (SIF).
Subject to funding conditions, the awards will help to re-furbish and re-equip colleges and training facilities including the £3.9m conversion of the former St Winifred’s Catholic Church in Bootle.
