A Leigh-based airport maintenance contractor has been acquired by national civil engineering firm Colas Ltd for an undisclosed sum. Allied Infrastructure Management, which has a turnover of around £13m and employs 85 staff, has worked across the airport, highways, defence and construction sectors for more than 20 years.
