A new restaurant serving American barbecue cuisine is set to create up to 70 jobs in Liverpool as it selects the city for its first northern venue. Red Dog Saloon, whose owners have invested £1.2m in the new restaurant, will open later this monthon the site of former nightclub Republik on Bold Street. Already renowned in London for its fat ribs, buffalo chicken wings, hickory smoked pulled pork and burgers, the company also has restaurants in Nottingham and Southampton.
