Robinson to step down as CEO of Manchester Central
Angie Robinson is to step down as chief executive of convention centre Manchester Central, after almost six years in the role.
She is retiring in June 2017 after a 40-year career which saw her as chief executive of Manchester's inward investment agency MIDAS and also as chief executive of Greater Manchester Chamber.
Robinson has overseen a period of significant investment and growth at the convention centre, which attracts around half a million visitors to the city each year and generates an average economic impact of £75m.
