Resurgent Moneysupermarket expects higher earnings

PRICE comparison website Moneysupermarket saw strong trading in the fourth quarter and expects to report full-year earnings at the upper end of market expectations in March.

The Chester-based business, which earns money from commission on the sale of mortgages, credits cards, insurance and holidays, expects full-year revenues of £149m, up 9% on last year's £136.9m.

In a trading statement it forecast an adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) figure of £41m, up on £36m last time...
