Robert Solyom

Robert joined Brown Butler in 1980, qualified in 1984 and became a partner in 1987. He has an extensive client base of trading and investment companies. He also has a keen interest in all Corporate Finance activities.

“My audit clients cover a wide range, including substantial businesses with turnover in excess of £100m.

I have particular expertise in specialist non statutory audit procedures under environmental regulations (such as packaging, waste electrical and battery disposal compliance) and pensions rules.

Acting in an advisory role for non audit clients presents interesting assignments, such as Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) syndication, in which I have significant experience and I shall be advising on the newly announced Seed – EIS (SEIS).

Accounting services for non audit clients include efficient preparation of the statutory accounts and tax computations prior to external audit, together with ixbrl filing. I am also happy to advise on share option valuation for accounts purposes.”
