Peter Crawford

Peter  is a partner in the corporate team based in Sheffield, specialising in all aspects of company and commercial law, with particular expertise in corporate finance. Peter acts for a wide portfolio of local and national clients from start-up companies to listed PLCs. He is highly respected in the Yorkshire marketplace and is described by the Legal 500 as “a pleasure to work with”, which also praises him for “delivering on promises, timescales and costs”.

Prior to joining Freeths, Peter headed the corporate team at Taylor & Emmet LLP in Sheffield for over five years and worked on numerous transactions in the Yorkshire region including:

–          Advising The Floow Limited on a 15% equity investment by Direct Line Group

–          Advising on the MBI of Excel Components Limited

–          Advising the shareholders of STL Group plc on their exit to Infotrack Limited

–          Advising on the buy-out of European Oat Millers Limited
