* Paul Martin

Paul joined Brewin Dolphin in June 2011 as a Divisional Director, focusing on investment and financial planning and business development.

As well as managing his deliberately small portfolio of clients, to ensure an unsurpassed level of service, Paul has recently taken on responsibility for the development of relationships in the professional community for the Yorkshire office.

Paul has worked in Wealth Management since 1992 having previously served as a Commissioned Officer in the Royal Air Force.

He worked for HSBC at various locations in Yorkshire and was national Private Client Manager of the Year in 1999. He was invited to join Coutts in their Leeds office in 2004 where he became the most successful Private Banker in the country outside of London.

Paul was then approached by Barclays Wealth in 2006 to help develop their own new Leeds office, again becoming one of the most successful managers in the UK Private Banking operation.

He has wide experience in many areas of wealth management including financial planning, banking and credit. He has dealt with a number of high profile individuals and members of the Sunday Times Rich List.

Paul has also worked with Careers Academies UK, a national charity that aims to raise the aspirations of 16 to 19 year olds, providing mentoring and lecturing support.
