Jonathan Oxley

Jonathan joined the firm as a Director in the Corporate Finance department in October 2012 when Lupton Fawcett merged with Lee & Priestley.  He specialises in mergers and acquisitions in addition to employee share schemes and employee share ownership.  Jonathan also heads the firm’s pharmacies team, a niche area in which he has had a loyal client following for a number of years.

Jonathan particularly enjoys working with dedicated, creative and entrepreneurial business people who are looking for pro-active counsel to contribute to the growth and success of their businesses.  He has a particular focus on SME businesses where the benefit of his experience as a former Managing Partner at Lee & Priestley (2000-2009) is a great asset to clients.

Jonathan has been recognised in Chambers UK 2013 which says “Jonathan is an invaluable sounding board” with a “can-do attitude.”  The current edition of another leading independent legal directory, The Legal 500, describes Jonathan as “honest, flexible and knowledgeable.”

Jonathan is Chairman of the West Yorkshire region of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and heads the Yorkshire Shadow Monetary Policy Committee which is run by Lupton Fawcett Lee & Priestley in conjunction with The Yorkshire Post.  He is also a member of the Association of Partnerships Practitioners and the Law Society.
