Greg Styles

Greg graduated from Reading University in 1991 with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Land Management. He qualified as MRICS in 1993 whilst at Healey and Baker, where he was made Partner.

He is now one of Colliers International’s most experienced retail property professionals and heads the Retail Development Department.

Greg also heads the Leeds Office of Colliers International, where he manages a team of nearly 50 staff covering most property sectors and disciplines.

Greg is a particular expert in food store development and is retained by Sainsbury’s to advise them on their programme of new supermarket developments, extensions and replacements across the north of England.  He also has a strong track record in advising both private and public sector clients on the development of new shopping centres and other retail developments.

Greg has advised the public sector on the redevelopment of Barnsley town centre since its inception, providing the whole range of development consultancy advice from compulsory purchase to leasing.

He has also advised on the asset management, leasing and acquisition of numerous shopping centres including The Grange in Birkenhead; Cameron Toll in Edinburgh; Southgate in Bath; and Sainsbury’s development at White Rose in Leeds.
