Major Chinese firm set to join £200m Yorkshire Energy Park
A listed Chinese company has become the latest in a series of companies to commit to making the proposed £200m Yorkshire Energy Park its home.
Listed on the Hong Kong and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges, BYD Company is one of China’s largest privately owned enterprises and has now confirmed its intention by entering into a commercial collaboration agreement with Yorkshire Energy Park developers. It is the world’s largest manufacturer of lithium batteries and electric vehicles.
