An 838,000 sq ft flagship prime logistics park, which could create thousands of jobs on the site of the former Outokumpo works in Sheffield, has been given the go-ahead. The plans by site owners Peel Logistics Property, for the major redevelopment of the former steel works, will breathe new life and employment opportunities back into a 50-acre brownfield site on land off Shepcote Lane. Full planning consent was agreed for phase one comprising 179,000 sq ft of development, alongside outline permission for the 660,000 sq ft phase ...
