Supermarket snapped up in £51.7m deal

A Morrisons supermarket at Hillsborough Barracks in Sheffield has been acquired by a real estate investment firm for £51.7m. Supermarket Income REIT, the UK supermarket real estate investor, has acquired the 113,000 sq ft Morrisons from  Opus North, reflecting a net initial yield of 4.9%. The supermarket is located on an 8.4-acre site at the historic and prominent Hillsborough Barracks.
