£9m supermarket and retail plans revealed

Plans for a mixed-use development creating scores of new jobs in Beverley have been submitted to East Riding Council. The £9m proposals were lodged by national planning and economics consultancy Lichfields on behalf of Lidl and Cookridge Estates. The development is earmarked for land to the west of Hull Road, south of Beverley, which has been allocated for a mix of uses including around 800 homes.
