Leeds Bridge restrictions to begin for maintenance scheme
Traffic restrictions to allow maintenance works to be carried out on Leeds Bridge are to begin this weekend.
From Sunday 21 January, no traffic (with the exception of the Elland Road Park and Ride service running weekdays 7am to 7pm) will be able to travel northbound over the bridge into the city centre.
The project, managed by Leeds City Council, will include work to strengthen, clean and repaint the bridge which carries traffic on Bridge End over the River Aire by The Calls in the city centre.
