Yorkshire Water to pump £300m in the region
Yorkshire Water is set to pump £300m into South Yorkshire this financial year, launching several projects as part of the project.
The schemes are designed to improve the area’s water and wastewater infrastructure, with projects including a £24m scheme at Rivelin treatment works to improve Sheffield drinking water quality, it said.
The scheme is set to complete in late 2018, and will run alongside other projects including the £20m investment in Lundwood sewage treatment works.
