Jet2 owner expects profits to outstrip expectations

Leeds-based Dart Group, owners of the Jet2 brand, is expecting results to be well ahead of market expectations following a year of growth. The company, which announced the creation of hundreds of jobs across UK airports last year, said it expected pre-tax profits for the year to March 2017 to be ahead of current expectations, as a result of “lower than anticipated” winter losses.
