SECOND CREATIVE MARKETING EVENT TO BE HELD IN BIRMINGHAM

Speakers from the worlds of media, marketing, technology and creativity will present at a communications seminar for marketers in the Midlands on 26 October.

The ‘Now that’s what I call Creativity’ – Robots or Humans? event follows an extremely successful first Midlands creativity conference last November. It will be presented by Chartered Institute of Marketing, (CIM) the world’s leading professional marketing body and is the second event hosted jointly by CIM Midlands and the national CIM Creative Communications Group.

The final line-up of speakers includes Kristina Dimitrova, Researcher & Writer, Contagious; Ringo Moss, Digital Strategist, McCann Birmingham; Ruepal Aujla UM media agency, Andy McNab, VP at Rocketfuel and Michael Byrne, Head of Marketing, npower Business Solutions.

“We are delighted to be bringing a second creative conference to Birmingham,” says Nick Oppenheimer CIM Ambassador for creative, digital and technology.

“For creative, communication and marketing professionals exploring the potential of technology, it is increasingly a challenge to ‘put humans first’. With accelerating and profound technological change, from programmatic media to artificial intelligence, predictive modelling to virtual worlds, robots and telepresence to mobile and gamification, the many possibilities and platforms that technology offers are an exercise in creativity.

“Our line-up includes the very best practitioners in this field who will share their knowledge, offer insights and make predictions on the future.”

The day begins at 08.00 for an 08.30 start and concludes at 12 noon.

The event takes place on Thursday 26 October in Birmingham City centre. Ticket price is £65 for members and students, £85 for non-members.
