Former Solihull MP joins DBS law

BIRMINGHAM legal firm DBS Law has recruited former Solihull MP Lorely Burt.

Recently appointed as a life peer with the title Baroness Lorely Burt of Solihull, the Liberal Democrat politician was the town’s MP from 2005 until last year when she was beaten by the Conservative candidate at the General Election.

She has joined DBS as a non-executive director of the firm’s community interest company, DBS Heart, and will also act as a board adviser for the law firm.
