Aerospace: Avingtrans strengthens supply position with rival acquisition

AEROSPACE supplier Avingtrans has acquired a Midland-based rival in a deal worth £1.1m.

Nuneaton-based Avingtrans, which designs, manufactures and supplies critical components and associated services to the global aerospace, energy, and medical sectors, is to take on RMDG Aerospace, part of West Bromwich-based Tricorn Group.

The deal, set to be completed by August 12 following employee consultation, will see RMDG absorbed into Avingtrans’ aerospace division, Sigma Components.
