Legal 500 – Corporate activity levels strong despite climate
CORPORATE and commercial activity may have declined during the recession but heavyweight law firms in Birmingham still sustained healthy levels of business.
According to data from sector bible Legal 500, the big players in the city were DLA Piper, Eversheds, Pinsent Masons and Wragge & Co.
DLA Piper has been singled out for its work acting for longstanding client Intertek UK Holdings on a multi-jurisdictional acquisition, and for Barclays Ventures and West Register (Investments) on a £70m refinancing.
