State of the Region: Firms cautious on where economy will go

BUSINESSES in the West Midlands are taking a cautious approach towards growth in the economy during the next 12 months with most believing any upturn will be negligible, TheBusinessDesk.com's annual State of the Region survey has found.

Asked for their predictions on 2013, 47% of respondents said growth would either be minimal or flat. However, 31% said they felt confidence was returning to the economy and that growth would be slow but consistent.
