Golf course’s restaurant plans swing into action
West Bromwich’s Dartmouth Golf Course is set to open its new restaurant this month as part of its continued expansion.
The bar and restaurant, named The Lewisham, will be the latest addition to the family-owned golf course, and will be available for private hire, corporate events, Christmas parties and business meetings with a private meeting room suitable for up to 12 people.
Vijay Kumar, from The Ivy Birmingham, is to take up the role of head chef at the venue.
Nadine, co-founder of The Lewisham at Dartmouth Golf Course, said: “I’m really keen that Dartmouth Golf Course is seen as an inclusive place for all people to enjoy, and the launch of The Lewisham is certainly going to shift public opinion. With incredible cocktails, cuisine, interior and atmosphere, The Lewisham is set to be the new ‘place to be’ in West Bromwich, and I can’t wait for guests to enjoy a wonderful dining experience.”
