Chiltern railways get passenger accolade
Chiltern Railways have been voted the best train company to London from the Midlands in a recent passenger survey.
Transport Focus, an independent body that represents the views of rail passengers nationally, commissioned the National Rail Passenger Survey (NRPS) to undertake the survey, which is based on an analysis of overall satisfaction, with emphasis on 30 specific aspects of service.
91% of Midland travellers rated Chiltern's service as "good or satisfactory", against a national average of 81%.
