A Midlands construction group is targeting fresh growth as it looks to build on record turnover. Speller Metcalfe revealed a record turnover in excess of £141m – up 20% on 2016’s performance. Pre-tax profit rose 73%. The company, which is headquartered in Malvern and works from offices in Gloucester, London and Wolverhampton also benefited from a record order book, which it said offered the opportunity of further controlled growth through 2018-2020.
