£20m funding agreed for athletes’ village

The West Midlands Combined Authority has agreed to commit £20m towards the development of the planned Athlete's Village for the 2022 Commonwealth Games. WMCA board members gave the green light to the scheme at their monthly meeting, held at Birmingham Council House.
