Jewellery Quarter gem named UK gin Bar of the Year
A Birmingham gin bar has beaten off competiton from London to be named best in the UK.
40 St Paul’s, based in St Paul's Square in the Jewellery Quarter, has been named Bar of the Year at the inaugural Icons of Gin Awards 2018.
Regarded as one of the city’s best kept secrets, the tiny 24-cover bar came out ahead of several London locations, including Dukes Hotel in Mayfair, as well as bars in Leeds and Glasgow.
