Amazon pledges 400 jobs for Warwickshire with new warehouse

Warwickshire has received a 400-job boost with an announcement that online retailer Amazon is to open a major new distribution facility in the county. The retailer is begun recruiting managers and support staff for the new facility, with the search for warehouse floor workers due to begin soon. The new unit will link in to Amazon’s existing Midlands operations in Coalville, Daventry and Rugeley. The retailer currently employs around 24,000 people in the UK and has warehouses in Tilbury and Doncaster. Plans are in the pip...
