Ultra wing secures $16m aerospace deals

Defence and energy supplier Ultra Electronics has secured major new orders for its aerospace division. The company, which has operations in Birmingham and Staffordshire, said its Precision Control Systems (PCS) business, based in Cheltenham, had received contracts worth $16m from US aerospace giants Boeing and Lockheed Martin. The contracts will see PCS supply additional tranches of its HiPPAG (High Pressure Pure Air Generators) stores ejection systems for use on front line US and international strike aircraft.
