BIRMINGHAM HIPPODROME is on the cusp of a new age as one of the cultural focal points of Birmingham, according to its chairman John Crabtree.

Mr Crabtree, former senior partner at Wragge & Co and one of the city’s most influential business figures, says more than a decade of hard work is about to pay off for the theatre, as it launches its appeal to fund a new stage and anticipates the impact of a new wave of regeneration.
