ARCHITECT Glenn Howells believes the Hippodrome can become to Hurst Street what the Royal Opera House is to London’s Covent Garden.

Birmingham-born and based Mr Howells is responsible for many of the city’s iconic landmarks such as the remodelled Rotunda and Custard Factory, as well as new-builds such as Eleven Brindleyplace. He is also an influential figure in Birmingham’s ongoing regeneration, and a champion of its acclaimed Big City Plan.
