Concrete blocks maker exits building supplies

A CHESHIRE concrete blocks manufacturer has sold its building supplies operation to an ambitious building merchants firm.

Cheshire Concrete Products of Middlewich, a £10m turnover business which was part of construction group Pochin until a demerged in 2006, has sold its Cornerstones Building and Landscape Products, which trades from an 1.5 acre site in St Helens, to North Wales company Huws Gray.

Financial terms of the deal, which will allow Cheshire Concrete to focus on its core business, were not disclosed...
