Crop protection innovator raises growth cash

CHESHIRE-based agro-chemicals business Redag Crop Protection is creating up to 20 jobs after a fresh fund-raising.

The small business, which was demerged last year from biotech firm Redx, has raised $2m (£1.4m) in a fundraising led by Manchester advisory firm Acceleris Capital.

The investment was secured  from existing backer  the North West Fund for Venture Capital, managed by Enterprise Ventures along with further investment from the Seneca EIS Portfolio Service.
