£64m Copperas Hill student scheme back on table

Plans have been revived for the £64m redevelopment of the old Royal Mail sorting site office near Liverpool’s Lime Street station have been revived. Liverpool John Moores University ditched the plan last year after the sorting office was demolished and the £100m cost of the Copperas Hill scheme for students escalated. The new plan will include two new buildings – a student life building and sports building – to be completed by summer 2020.
