The first new homes on the £14m Mill Brow development in Speke on Merseyside.

They were unveiled in a ceremony organised by homebuilder Keepmoat Homes, Liverpool City Council and South Liverpool Homes.

They have been delivered as part of a four-year partnership programme that will bring 147 new two, three and four bedroom family homes to the area.

Some 132 will be for sale and 15 made available for affordable rent and shared ownership through South Liverpool Homes.

Gareth Roberts, North West managing director for Keepmoat, said: “This is our first development in Speke and we are delighted to be partnering with Liverpool City Council and South Liverpool Homes to re-generate the area.”
