UK growth to stay ‘steady but subdued’

UK economic growth is expected to stay steady but subdued over the next couple of years, according to the latest CBI Economic Forecast. The tepid growth seen in 2017 is set to continue. The CBI’s view remains similar to that in June 2017, with the business group forecasting that GDP will grow at a rate of 1.5% for 2017, 1.5% in 2018 and 1.3% in 2019.
