Joanna Swash, the managing director of fast-growing Moneypenny will share her story at a networking lunch next month.
After several packed events in Manchester, the first TheBusinessDesk.com Women in Business lunch in Liverpool will be held at Lunya in the city centre.
Joanna was recruited as Moneypenny’s first sales person 13 years ago and is now managing director of a business that has grown to employ more than 550 people has annual revenues of £25m.
The company, which has seen 20% year-on-year growth, appointed an M&A and strategy director a year ago – a sign of things to come as it looks to further ramp up growth.
Joanna will talk about her progression through sales and senior commercial roles – positions often seen as macho – and about how, as the leader of the business, she is creating a welcoming and modern culture.
She will demonstrate that as well as being the right thing to do, this approach has tangible business benefits for the Top 100 Employer.
Join us on Friday, April 27 to hear from Joanna and network with women from business and the professional services over lunch.
