Powerleague could close sites, say reports

Powerleague, the operator of five-a-side football pitches which has venues in Derby and Nottingham, could close some of its sites, according to reports. Sky News says the firm is weighing up the possibility of a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) to try and persuade its creditors to extend reduced payments. Powerleague has nearly 50 sites across the country. Sky News says that Deloitte has been approached to supervise the CVA, and that Powerleague is blaming the bad weather caused by 'The Best from the East' earlier this year f...
