Global pharma firm creates 63 jobs in Loughborough

A global pharmaceutical company has expanded into Loughborough, creating 63 new jobs and establishing a new research and development facility in the town. The move comes after after Almac Pharma Services received £1m in funding from the University of Derby’s Invest to Grow scheme. Almac has spent the cash redeveloping premises at Charnwood Campus, a 70-acre science, technology and enterprise park on the outskirts of Loughborough, which was formerly the base of Astra Zeneca.
