Manufacturer ‘open to acquisitions’ after profits rise
Lincolnshire plastic sheet and roofing firm Molan says it expects to see its profits rise during 2018 after posting its full-year results for last year.
Turnover rose just over half a million pounds to £13.9m for the year-ending 31 December 2017, with profits after tax going back into seven figures at £1.15m.
Molan says 2017 brought "new change" as polycarbonate material prices began to escalate - something which it minimised by better forward-planning, competitive buying and an increased stock holding.
